This year CipSoft celebrated the 25th anniversary of its MMORPG Tibia. The game is running stronger than ever, creating substantial revenues. On the other hand, CipSoft has not succeeded in establishing a second online game that managed to even remotely match Tibia's commercial success. In this talk I will present the various different approaches the company has taken over the years to come up with new ideas as well as summarize our key learnings. I will also explain our current approach to find and create the online game that will hopefully carry us into the next decade.
