Consisting of hardware and the pre-installed, CE-certified software, CUREO is immediately applicable and already in use in leading clinics. CUREO therapy promotes rehabilitation in cases of damage to the central nervous system (e.g. after stroke, paraplegia or neurodegenerative diseases), pain, and mobility restrictions after operations. Modular training units in a VR environment playfully support cognitive and sensorimotor rehabilitation. Motor skills of the upper extremities and trunk are promoted. From the hospital bed in clinical rehabilitation, to outpatient therapy, e.g. in a wheelchair, to aftercare, CUREO can be used transsectorally. Thanks to its mobile use, CUREO enables new aftercare concepts for patients and sustainable quality of care. Thanks to the possibility of parallel, individualized therapy of several patients by one therapist, personnel resources can be spared and therapists can be relieved while maintaining therapy quality. Gamification promotes patient motivation, willingness to participate in therapy, and thus therapy success.
