gamescom is the world’s largest leading event for computer and video games. It brings together the international gaming community and entire games industry in a unique way, both in person in Cologne and digitally.
Each year, gamescom draws hundreds of thousands of fans and a diverse range of participants, including developers, publishers, eSports professionals, cosplayers, creators, and stakeholders from politics and business. In addition to the event in Cologne, gamescom is strategically expanding its portfolio internationally with gamescom dev, gamescom asia and gamescom latam.
In 2025, the event set new standards by breaking multiple records: 357,000 visitors from 128 countries, 1,568 exhibitors from 72 nations, and a total exhibition space of 233,000 square meters made it the largest edition to date. Its digital reach also soared, with more than 1.1 billion VoD views across the entire show program and 91.5 million alone for the gamescom Opening Night Live, underscoring gamescom’s global impact.
