Dreamnauts Studios (former Playtra Games) was founded in 2018 by Dan Bernardo, proud black creator and member of the LGBTQ+ community, former SVP Global Creative for ad-tech darling, Unruly. With a track record of creating incredible products, delivered by passionate, efficient teams, Dan brought his experience and love for games to Dreamnauts. We are, currently, a small but experienced team of 13, with more than 50 years combined in the gaming industry. Dreamnauts was born out of Dan Bernardo’s desire to bring diversity into games. As a black, gay, South American creative building an extensive career in Europe and North America, he knows, first hand, the challenges, biases (hidden and open) and institutional barriers anyone outside the norm face on a daily basis. He’s fighting to create a safe space where people can bring their love for games and their rich cultural background together to create unique game experiences.
