Information

This will be the project's fifth spin-off at devcom. Thanks to exceptional speakers, including a famous philosophy professor, game & narrative designer and founders of independent videogame companies, we will try to deepen the questions and answers we formulated in October 2022 to understand how the ancient archetypal structures of the "Ludus ", merged into the videogame universes, are connected to the representation, creation and development of the multifaceted conflict crises of past, present and future human history.
Target Audiences
Anyone in the video game industry is interested in asking questions and analyzing the industry from an unusual historical and cultural point of view.

Key Take Aways
Understand the enormous social, historical and cultural importance and responsibility of the world of video games in the contemporary reality. Starting to think of an evolution of video games in hitherto unexplored directions that don't exclude the rest of society that still considers video games just carefree entertainment. Be aware of Huzinga's main statement in Homo Ludens that games are not simply part of culture, but that culture and civilization were born in the "Ludus" (Game).
