Truer than You

Look for love and connection in a world where nothing is what it seems - not even you! Truer than You is a 2D visual novel with a large number of choices, leading to multiple endings. The player's goal is to explore relationships and dilemmas connected to authenticity, self-image, society, and climate change. You’re right about to start your position at the secretive company Truer than You, specializing in renting out actors for real life situations. Now it’s up to you to adopt and complete a variety of assignments - ranging from getting a gallery’s clients to buy more art or making someone’s husband jealous, to even pretending to be the parent of a child. Your job is to play your role as credibly as possible without breaking company rules or being exposed. Each week, you’ll get a rating based upon how well you’ve handled the situations. But playing someone else is not an easy task. Sometimes you’ll end up in situations where the borders start to blur. You might fall in love. And then, you might start taking higher risks. Or, you might get deceived yourself. Simultaneously, your background is catching up with you. Why did you leave all your old relationships behind, to start a new life as someone else?
