This session will give exclusive insight into how Necesse went from selling 0 copies on 4th day of release to now having sold over 1 million copies. It will be a story about how a self funded solo developer went from nothing to now having a small indie studio with 8 full time developers.
Necesse's early access journey has been a wild roller coaster. It was released all the way back in 2019 as a barely minimum viable product in it's genre. Since then it has got 2 complete graphics overhauls, over 10 times the amount of content, many feature overhauls and most importantly, a vibrant community around it.
Note: Pending confirmation, we expect to release the 1.0 version of Necesse before this talk will be held. If so, it will also include the learnings from that.
